Supported assets

The curated whitelist of assets creators can include in an index at launch. The list expands over time via DAO vote as more assets meet the criteria.

The initial launch set#

At launch, only assets on this list can be included in a basket. The launch set was chosen for two reasons: (1) each asset has a real Uniswap V4 pool against USDG on Robinhood Chain with meaningful liquidity, and (2) each asset has clear on-chain custody and transferability rules.

Categories#

  • Blue-chip cryptoWETH, WBTC. Live at launch.
  • Tokenized US equitiesThe largest names from Robinhood’s stock-token registry: NVDA, MSFT, GOOGL, META, AMZN, TSLA, HOOD, COIN, AAPL, AMD, PLTR, ORCL. Live at launch.
  • ETFsSPY, QQQ. Planned — pending sufficient V4 pool depth.
  • CommoditiesPAXG, XAUT (gold). Planned — pending bridging support to Robinhood Chain.
  • Real-world assetsUSDY (Ondo US Treasury yield), BUIDL (BlackRock USD Institutional). Planned — pending issuer transferability sign-off.

Whitelisting criteria#

For an asset to be added, three conditions must all be true: (1) an initialized Uniswap V4 pool against USDG exists on Robinhood Chain, (2) that pool has enough liquidity that a typical basket-buy leg does not incur crippling slippage, and (3) the asset's issuer permits transfer to arbitrary smart contracts (i.e., our per-index vault can custody it without a per-vault whitelist request).

Expansion roadmap#

The launch set is deliberately conservative. As Robinhood Chain's ecosystem grows — more V4 pools, more bridged assets, more tokenized RWAs — the whitelist will grow in step. The list is stored on-chain in the AssetWhitelist contract and can be inspected there at any time.
